Dr. Farrokh Sharifzad
(GDC No: 71696)
Farrokh is a graduate from Karolinska institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Karolinska institute is often ranked as the best dental school in the world. That is where the Nobel prize is awarded yearly.
Farrokh has been the owner and principal of Hove Family Dental Practice since 1999.
He also founded Marina Dentalcare in 2007 which has been an amazing success story.
He has special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He acquired certification for implant restorations from British Academy of Implants and Restorative Dentistry in 2014.
He was the first dentist in Sussex to treat his patient with invisalign.

Itzia De Anton Paz
(GDC No: 187677 LIC ODONT Madrid 2009)
I gained my Bachelor of Dentistry in 2009 at the University of Madrid, I qualified with one of the highest grades. I have done several postgraduate courses and have studied at the university of Bologna Italy and hospital university Cienfuegos Cuba. I have participated in voluntary works as a dentist with people with disabilities while in Madrid. Once I completed my degree I volunteered as a dentist in Africa. I have 10 years experience of dentistry in the UK.
I joined the Hove Family Dental practice in 2014 and consider my work team as my family in the UK, we are a team of mostly women and support and care for each other in all ways.
I am passionate about offering the highest standards of dentistry to all patients and give 100% with a smile.
I am excited to now offer facial aesthetics after completing Level 7 at the Harley Academy in London.
In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and family. I love to dance and enjoy running. I love to travel and learn about other cultures.

I qualified as a Dentist in Madrid in 2002. I completed my postgraduate course in periodontology in Buenos Aires and moved to Hove where I have been living and practicing since 2005.
I feel 17 years of experience has given me confidence in all my treatments and has helped me to develop a pleasant and trusting atmosphere in the surgery.
I have studied 2 years of craniosacral therapy which has taught me to always approach and treat patients with the utmost kindness.
I am a mercury free dentist and I enjoy motivating my patients to take responsibility for their daily hygiene and diet as I strongly believe in prevention being the best policy.
My special interest is Periodontolgy and enjoy all aspects of dentistry including Restorative, Cosmetic and Pediatric dentistry. I have experience of helping and treating patients with special needs. I have worked in the community dental service, Temporomandibular joint, Rotary endontics, Prosthodontics.
I enjoy continuing to develop professionally. I have attended implant practical courses in Brazil and the Dominican Republic and a surgical wisdom tooth extraction course in Cuba.
I have collaborated as a dentist with NGOs that help in Nicaragua, India, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
It feels great to be a part of such an amazing caring team at Hove Family Dental I enjoy each day here.
In my spare time I love to walk in the forest, cycle and swim and of course travel with my partner and two children age 2 and 4 years old.
Hygenist / Therapist

I have been a registered Dental Hygiene Therapist since 2014, qualifying at The Royal London. At my time at university I was awarded a prize for the best clinical work in my year group and the highest grade in my Dental Hygiene examination.
I joined Hove Family Dental in March 2016 and feel very lucky to be a part of such a fantastic caring team.
I am passionate about educating my patients of the importance of Oral Hygiene ensuring all patients feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. Helping patients to overcome dental fears is of the utmost importance to me. I pride myself on providing gentle treatment along with a friendly approach.
With a constantly evolving dental profession I keep up to date with continued professional development.
When not at work I love to spend as much time as possible with my two beautiful horses.
Kelly Norton – Head nurse

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2001. I have progressed to head nurse here at Hove Family Dental and enjoy every aspect of my job. I find it extremely rewarding helping patients to feel comfortable and to have the best experience they can at our practice. I feel very lucky that we have a wonderful team which makes coming to work a pleasure.
In my spare time I love spending time with my partner and family on long woodland walks and spending time with my two beautiful cats.
Davina Olney – Dental nurse

I have enjoyed being a dental nurse for 16 years since leaving school and still love my job.
I joined Hove Family dental practice in 2011 and the wonderful team I have the pleasure to work with. I love meeting all our patients and putting them at ease.
In my spare time I am busy with my young family and we love eating out and long walks along the beach.
I have worked within the dental industry for 16 years and have been with the Hove Family Dental Practice since 2014. I feel privileged to work with such a caring professional team who strive to give the personal touch to each of our patients.
Apart from the general running of the practice I am passionate about patient care and ensure each of our patients have the best treatment journey possible from start to finish. I feel communication is key and my door is always open to patients as well as the team.
In my spare time I love to walk the Sussex Downs with my family and adore my time with my 4 grandchildren.
Amanda Young – receptionist
Having worked in the industry for 35 years I still really appreciate that we are a family run business and love that we still offer that personal touch with a great team of people.
Outside of work my passion is creativeness and being a seamstress keeps me busy.
